Street markets are very popular in Torrevieja and the surrounding villages.

The street market is an alternative to traditional commerce and in them you can
obtain numerous objects for decoration, textiles, clothing, interior design,
craft, animals, footwear and horticultural produce at very reasonable prices,
which can sometimes be good buys.
The street markets have a real arab-style market atmosphere and have achieved
great popularity amongst the Spanish and the thousands of Europeans that visit
Torrevieja.
Some are held once a week and others are permanent. They are often held on
seaside promenades.
