Taxis can usually be found in their designated areas. Some of these are near the
Town Hall, the town centre, at the bus station, near the local police station,
at health centres and in various residential areas.

There is a minimum tariff for using a taxi and an additional price per kilometre
which is shown on the small counter machines called taximetres, which means that
you can see for yourself the price of each journey. Journeys within the town can
not exceed 30 euros.
In the roof of the taxis, they take a luminous indicator that indicates if the
taxi is free (illuminated) or occupied.
The minimal tariff for using a taxi is 3,50 € approximately, and the
displacements up to the airport or the train station of Alicante, is about 45
and 65 €.
The taxi service is made up of 87 vehicles approximately.
