There have been a number of local fundraising events throughout Torrevieja and on Saturday March 20th, there shall be a free entertainment happening at the Habaneras Commercial Centre. From noon to eight in the evening, local artists are giving their time and talent for free, to raise money and awareness for the earthquake victims. ‘Music-while-you-shop’ has been organized by local volunteers from Alzheimer’s charity ‘A.F.A’ and features the Vega Baja Big Band, Tony Kelly and the Keith Monk Jazz Band who shall be supporting the cause. Whilst the open-air concerts are offered completely free of charge, a team of volunteers will be on hand with their collection tins for donations from the public.
