We will go walking up the river following its bed until we reach Fuente Bermeja, where we will be able to lunch at the built-on table located at the shelter’s entrance, and will come back later through the track going down the left side of the slope, and then will go again over the Espuña river up to the Power Plant. This track goes all along the opposite slope coming down the Pico de la Garita and which leads to Carmona as well. Date: March 21, 2010 Meeting point: Cultural centre Virgen del Carmen (c/ del Mar, Torrevieja) Exit time: 8.30 a.m. No courtesy minutes. Registration essential!!!! Approximate duration: 4 hours Difficulty level: Medium Approximate distance: 8 km Guide: José Antonio Ruiz Assistant: Daniel Garrido Take with you: suitable clothes depending on the weather, food for the whole day, water, nuts and dried fruit, fruit.
