As we walked into the beautiful restaurant, we were greeted by smiling faces and a warm welcome. The restaurant was decorated in a cheerful and bright Mexican theme which was warm and inviting.
The menu at El Charro Negro is extensive and after much perusal, we chose two starters to share. One starter to share would have been sufficient as the portion size for all courses is very generous. My wife had a chilli spicy main course dish service whereas I opted for something less spicy but equally tasty. The menu clearly states which dishes are ‘hot’. We also had beautiful deserts and would definitely recommend the house banana desert. All the food was well presented and very tasty.
We also had a very nice house dry white wine.
Throughout the meal staff were attentive. The restaurant is obviously popular as most of the tables were occupied and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
I would definitely recommend this Mexican restaurant and plan to return to it the near future.
