Orihuela Costa Bus Line

Orihuela Costa has got already a complete public transport service which can be used by all residents of the different urbanizations.

The existing line route has been substantially modified to expand the scope of the service up to the places with more population density, reaching the limits with boundary towns such as San Miguel de Salinas; Torrevieja and Pilar de la Horadada.

This way, the service is structures in two clearly different lines whose only point in common is the Orihuela Costa’s Town Hall. The “red line” departs from the said Town Hall, goes by the “Alameda del Mar” civil centre up to the Torrevieja’s hospital, and has a 13 stops in total. The “blue line” starts at the Orihuela Costa’s Town Hall and travels through Villamartín; urbanization El Presidente; urbanization El Galan; Las Filipinas; La Cuerda; Campoamor; Aguamarina; La Regia and La Zenia, having a total of 20 stops.

The service rendered comprises a total of 30 stops between the two lines, and provides a service for all coastal area urbanizations.

I ve heard this route is very unreliable. Has anyone any experience of this. Will be over in July with no car so would appreciate any adviceI
