The main idea would be to manage Torrevieja as a GREAT CENTER OF PURCHASES, where the supply is varied and attractive for any person who is in her area of influence.
From the Association of Small and Medium Retailers of Torrevieja (APYMECO) WE COMMUNICATED: The involution of the commerce in the urban helmet, as much by the occupation of the premises in rent or sale, as much by the implantation of companies ¨locomotoras¨, that attract towards our city a quota of market that is had lost by the implantation in the neighborhood of different commercial centers (Corte Inglés in Elche, Nueva Condomina in Murcia, etc.) or is welcomed but we put in public knowledge that the creation of a saturated supply would not do more than to aggravate a difficult situation for the commercial sector of the city, since the small and medium commerce can compete in prices with CC, but cannot compete by its characteristics with the great real estate centers nor in openings in festive, nor in the opening in these centers of local companies, since the prices by meter that prevails to them do not have anything to do with the prices by meter chains and multinationals therefore while that does not regulate the small one and medium commerce will not have the same opportunities to compete.We suggested therefore that is made a regulation, considering the characteristics of the small and medium commerce, that allows to compete within its possibilities to the PYMES with the C.C. I also make clear the intention of APYMECO to create a table of work (next to the Council of Commerce) with the directors of great surfaces (C.C. Havanans, Carrefur, and Ozone) and other companies that want to participate, for the global involution of all the commerce in the municipal term of Torrevieja, gliding joint operations and synchronizing performances so that ¨efecto llamada¨ on the population of the Low Fertile valley and Urbanizations next to our city is attractive, creating later a strategy so that the flow of people does not remain suspended but that in a certain zone have attractive the sufficient one so that once in Torrevieja it is impelled to move to different zones from the city.
