Cheste on the podium of MotoGP

The last race in the most important motorcycle racing championship in the world gets under way in Cheste!

From October 24th to 26th, for the tenth year in a row, the Parts Europe MotoGP race (or Gran Premio de Motociclismo Parts Europe de la Comunitat Valenciana to give it its official title) is taking place at the Ricardo Tormo Speed Circuit.

The bikes used are prototypes made specifically for the competition. At the previous nine editions, Dani Pedrosa has claimed victory on no less than 4 occasions, more than any other competitor. Only three other Spaniards, Héctor Faubel, Héctor Barberá  and Sete Gibernau have won the title in this competition. A guaranteed extravaganza.

Spectators can also enjoy a series of other activities running alongside the race, such as Minimoto Masters, an interesting programme of evening activities including concerts, restaurant areas, attractions and a campsite set up by the Cheste sports centre.
