A MAN DIES DROWNED IN THE BEACH OF THE PRIEST OF TORREVIEJA

About 13:00  morning time the life guards where alerted by a bartender of the
restaurant  "El Tintero, they were rescuing a man from the water of  Playa del
Cura. Apparently, the 73-year-old man of age was unconscious in the water.
Volunteers  of the Red Cross performed the first maneuvers of revival amongst
hundreds of persons who were in the beach at that moment. A rescue unit of the
Samu continued the works of revival without being able to do finally anything
for saving the life of the man.
Apparently the Life Guards also had to rescue out of the water another man who
threw himself to them help in the first rescue, without having to regret on
this occasion  any damage.
The wife of the deceased had to be assisted by rescuers of the Red Cross. The
73-year-old man of age was natura native of of the San Lorenzo del Escorial, in
Madrid.
To the place of the event  volunteers of the Red Cross came, a unit of the
Samu, agents of the local police, and of the civil guard.
