First and foremost, I would like to highly commend the exceptional and great work that the Guardia Civil has done with this investigation resulting in the arrest of this British citizen. I am not a permanent resident of Torrevieja, however, both my parents reside there and I visit this most magical city every two years. It is imperative that agencies like the Guardia Civil investigate criminals of this nature and eliminate the drug trafficking in such a wonderful city that depends so much on tourism, especially when you have non-Spanish residents infiltrating and poisoning the residents of this city and adding to the "bad" reputation. Torrevieja does not need individuals like this in its' city. There is nothing productive or beneficial to offer this city to it's' permanent residents and visitors alike. This only diminshes the beauty of this paradise and harms the local economy in more ways than one.
