Music while you shop to help the victims of the Haiti Earthquake

It may have happened a month or so ago but much of Haiti and her people are still in dire need of help and supplies.

There have been a number of local fundraising events throughout Torrevieja and on Saturday March 20th, there shall be a free entertainment happening at the Habaneras Commercial Centre. From noon to eight in the evening, local artists are giving their time and talent for free, to raise money and awareness for the earthquake victims.

‘Music-while-you-shop’ has been organized by local volunteers from Alzheimer’s charity ‘A.F.A’ and features the Vega Baja Big Band, Tony Kelly and the Keith Monk Jazz Band who shall be supporting the cause. Whilst the open-air concerts are offered completely free of charge, a team of volunteers will be on hand with their collection tins for donations from the public. All of the cash collected will be donated to helping the people of Haiti so please help a worthy cause and stop by Habaneras on Saturday to be entertained while you shop.

The programme of entertainment is as follows:
12.00h to 14.00h: The VEGA BAJA BIG BAND
17.00h to18.15h: Singer TONY KELLY
18.15h to 20.00h: The KEITH MONK JAZZ BAND
