A new arm transplant

This is the second time Dr. Pedro Cavadas uses a new technique to make human transplants which he already made use of last year with very positive results.

The doctor Pedro Cavadas has made in Valencia a new auto-transplant of an arm to a 62 year-old man from Murcia, who lost his right arm 40 years ago in an accident and half a year ago, an ictus paralysed his left arm.

The operation took place last 10th of March at the “Vírgen del Consuelo” Hospital to make the patient recover the mobility in at least one of his arms. According to his family words, he is fine and he has begun to move the fingers so far.
