BREAK-IN IN A BANK IN TORREVIEJA

It is considered the possibility that the authors are a group specialized in this type of robberies.

A bank in Torrevieja, CajaMurcia, located on the Cortes Valencianas Avenue, was raided during the night of last Monday to Tuesday by using the break-in method. The thiefs are supposed to be a group specialized in this kind of robberies who blew no less than 15 private security boxes located inside the bank.

The very workers of the bank discovered the theft when they came in to the office to work in the morning of the 2nd of January, when they realized of the enormous hole made in the wall as well as several private security boxes blown.

Inside the boxes there was money but most of the boxes had plenty of jewels whose value has not been calculated so far.

The thiefs had a very good knowledge of the place itself having a very detailed plan of action. They came into the bank by breaking into the furniture shop which is next to the bank and then making a hole on the wall next to the bank.

Firstable the thiefs broke into the furniture shop after having forced the entrance door, and right after they made a hole on the wall by the bank. Before breaking into the bank, they had previously disconnected the alarm of the bank by using a frequency inhibitor.

Once inside the bank, they opened the security safety boxes of no less than 15 boxes of CajaMurcia customers. This fact shows that they had a very clear idea of what their aim was and the way to do so.

Agents of the Torrevieja Guardia Civil Judicial Police have taken the fingerprints left by the thiefs as well as other proofs in order to get more details and information about this robbery, watching over the bank during the procedures.
