Exhibition "por narices" (right under the nose)- scents and fragrances

An exhibition which offers all visitors the possibility of developing the sense of smell through 26 different scents.

Through this exhibition, citizens may find out, through the world of smells, different aromatic plants and spices, flours and fruits, as well as animals and the remembering they evoke.
You can smell natural scents such as those of thyme, jasmine, lemon or sandalwood. But you might also sense other scents which are not so nice such as the civet’s liquid segregation, a small African animal, and know the story of this smell, which the King Solomon used to perfume himself, as the legend tells.

Each fragrance is shown inside closed methacrylate’s modules, creating this way a silent and dark atmosphere in order for the scents to be the only main characters of the moment.

Place: Port premises, just next to the dique de levante.
Date: February 19 until March 1, 2010
Time: Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. in the morning and from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the evening. Saturdays and Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the morning and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the evening.
