If you are looking for something a little different to do with your night on the town, Torrevieja’s Virgen Del Carmen Cultural Centre on Friday the 5th or Saturday the 6th of February is the place to be. Fresh from their success in San Fulgencio, the ladies of Farndale Townswomen’s Guild are bring their Murder Mystery production to town to amuse and entertain unsuspecting theatre goers.It’s an original production written by David McGillivray & Walter Zerlin Jnr and directed by Colin Bird, who have taken a leaf out of the world of Brian Rix farces and produced their latest Dramatic Licence creation which, if their last performance is anything to go by, will have you rocking with laughter. This murder mystery is a hilarious insight into the pit-falls of Amateur Dramatics, jam-packed with fluffed lines; collapsing scenery and miss-timed entrances . . . it’s all there.
Performance start on both nights at 20.00 hrs, tickets are priced at 8 Euros each and can be obtained from the Box Office at the Municipal Theatre in Torrevieja, (open daily except Mondays from 11.00h to 13.00h) or ordered on-line at www.servicam.com and. felt the quake at about 5.45 0r thereabouts followed by a huge bang which we and the other nearby residents were unsure about being related ...
