The Guardia Civil has arrested 15 people of Rumanian nationality as authors of 150 robberies to bank clients who had just withdrawn important quantities of money at the bank.

They used to be in a group of 3 up to 4 people. One of them was the one in charge of being inside the bank marking the victim and his mates were waiting outside the bank. Their victims were mainly women who had just refunded important quantities of money, noticing the place where they kept it.

The person who was inside the bank, made a phone-call to his mates in order to describe them the look of  the victim.

Once the suspected victim was outside the bank, they pulled the victim and snatched her bag or they waited until she would get into her car and she would place the money on the co-driver seat to entertain her with any sort of excuse and then, one of the other mates opened the door and grabbed the money.

If the car would have the central locking activated, then the group broke the window with a spark plug which they used to keep in their pockets.

Some of the victims were wounded during the robberies, even one of them was seriously wounded when the robbers pulled her out of the car through the window because she had strongly held her bag.

Its about time these scumbags were being rounded up. I was robbed in Spain last year and it is not pleasant to be stranded in a foreign country with no money, house keys or car keys, no phone and no way of getting home. These people deserve the full force of the GC on them.
