Eighty male voices from Cornwall

Torrevieja’s ‘Alzheimer’s Association’ (A.F.A.) benefitted to the sum of 1.420, 20 euros through concerts offered by visiting choirs from Wales.

The Gwendraeth Valley Ladies Choir as well as the mixed voice ‘Carmarthen Choir’ both supported the local charity by donating the whole of the proceeds of their concerts in Torrevieja’s ‘Palacio de la Música’, to A.F.A. The money was raised through the sale of tickets and the generousity of the public who were generous in their voluntary donations collected after the events.

The next visitiong choir is the impressive, eighty voice strong ‘HOLMAN CLIMAX MALE VOICE CHOIR’ who hail from CORNWALL (See www.holmanclimaxmale voicechoir.co.uk) who will offer the following concerts in TORREVIEJA:

WEDNESDAY 14th May at 21.00h in the ‘Teatro Municipal’ together with Torrevieja’s own authentic ‘Habaneras’ choir and orchestra of guitar, mandolin and lute, ‘COROS Y ORQUESTA SALINAS’. Entrance 5€ at the door (or in andvance from Bargain Books). In Aid of AECC.

SATURDAY 17th MAY, 20.30h in the main church of the ‘Inmaculada Concepción’. Entrance free.
