Moroccan man arrested while breaking into a house

A police patrol saw a man trying to force the grills of a house using a crowbar.

Last January 2, at about 2 a.m., the Orihuela Costa’s Local Police received a telephone call from a neighbour of the urbanization La Zenia II which informed about a suspicious man was prowling around the residential area.

A patrol went to the said place and thanks to the collaboration given by the said call, they could see how this man tried to force the grills of a property using a crowbar.

When they were about to arrest him, another man, who seemed to be his accomplice, informed him and both of them run away. The police could chase the man who was trying to get into the house, even though he put up a lot of resistance to his arrest by kicking and hitting the policemen, who finally immobilized and arrested him.

The man arrested came from Morocco and was 33 years old. He was living in Callosa de Segura.
