Controls to motorbikes

The police will fine motorbikes exceeding the noise limit stipulated by law.

The Torrevieja’s Local Police communicates that it will perform during the months ahead a series of controls aimed to reduce infringements of acoustic pollution regulations made by motorbikes.

The Torrevieja’s ITV station will collaborate to these controls. At the same time, the Torrevieja’s Local Police warns that motorbikes shall go through the periodical technical control. Thus, all agents will watch over the fulfilment of the Acoustic Contamination and the Generalitat Valenciana’s regulations and, as a consequence, will confiscate and only allow to deposit –not to drive- infringing vehicles in garages or places where they can be amended to correct the infringement they have caused. They will afterwards be taken to the ITV’s station, where they will be controlled to check those amendments made adjust to the noise limits allowed.
