New Natural History Museum

The new Torrevieja's Natural History Museum located in the old Renfe's railway station will be finished in one week.

Torrevieja will increase its cultural cultural offer during the following weeks with the inauguration of a new museum located in the old Renfe’s railway station.

The new museum will have a unique collection of over 830 shells donated by a married couple of foreigners residing in Torrevieja.

The new museum will show many skeletons of different marine species which have beached the Torrevieja's seaside along the last years, and which were recovered to this aim. Among these species, we can find a common pilot whale, a bottle nosed dolphin or a roscualo’s skull.

The striped dolphin which beached at Punta Margalla last week will also be recovered for this new museum.
