Painting exhibition in Torrevieja of the Association of Painters of Guardamar

The exhibition will be open to public until the end of August at the Cultural Centre -Vírgen del Carmen-.

This exhibition shows works from painters of the Association of Painters of Guardamar. It is about an art exchange with the painters of Torrevieja. The Guardamar painters will show their works in Torrevieja during the month of August, and in September, artists from the Municipal Painting School of Torrevieja will show their paintings at the Exhibition Hall of The House of Culture in Guardamar.

This exhibition is called “Feeling Guardamar” and it gathers works made by painters of the Association of Painters of Guardamar. Around 50 paintings made in different painting techniques and styles which reflect different places of the city of Guardamar, as well as shots of the Sofia Queen Park of Guardamar, its beaches and its dunes.

This exhibition came from the idea of an art exchange between the painters of the cities of Torrevieja and Guardamar. The aim is to show the works of this Guardamar Association of Painters in August at the Torrevieja Cultural Centre “Vírgen del Carmen”, and the other way round, works from Painters of the Torrevieja Municipal School of Painting, pupils of the teachers Mar Garcia and Manuel Balaguer, to exhibit at the House of Culture of Guardamar in September.

The exhibition in Torrevieja was opened by the Councilman of Culture of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, and the Councilwoman of Culture of Guardamar, Sabrina Amorós, being present all painters showing in both exhibitions.
