Poets Gala

February 28 at 7 p.m., at the Virgen del Carmen’s Cultural Centre

The Torrelamata’s cultural association "CARTOLAMA" organizes the 1st Poets Gala.

The event will be presented by Abel Andreu, Poet Professor, and will count with the presence of the great soloist Toñi Priego accompanied to the piano by the great pianist Manolita Rico, professor of the school of adults of Elche, signing for Miguel Hernández.

Mrs.  Conchita Moreno, from the Torrevieja’s school of theatre, will recite several pieces by Antonio Machado.

The poet Muchita de La Mata will present her poems.

Presentation of the (musical-vocalist) music group, Rosalía de Castro, from La Mata, directed by Tatiana Viteazu, at the flute, Lilia Yaubekova and the soloist Ivan Winter.

Miguel Hernández poems will be recited by the students of the ADIEM Association.

Felicidad Alarcón, finalist in the 3rd Torrevieja’s City Contest, will recite poems of Miguel and Rafael de León, accompanied by the soloist Toñi Priego and to the piano by Manolita Rico.

It will be closed with songs from the heart, remembering the poet Miguel Hernández in his centenary, sung by Blanca Santander.

Tickets’ sale:  Local theatre's ticket office, Tuesday to Friday, from
11  a.m.  to  1 p.m., and 2 hours before the concert at the Virgen del
Carmen Cultural Center’s ticket office.
