Virgen del Rocio’s Public Park

The park has got a children’s play area, an area for the elderly and a pipi-can.

The Torrevieja’s town has got a new park located in the southern area and which adjoins the municipality of Orihuela, with the Rocío del Mar’s urbanization. This park has been created by the gardening students at the workshop school Palangre III, made of by 13 workers-students.

The park has a 4,000 square metres surface, and it contains trees and bushes of the Mediterranean type such as: palm trees, olive trees, schinus molle, aromatic trees, hibiscus, cordiline,
bougainvillea, lantana, kalanchoe, yucas, etc.

Moreover, the Virgen del Rocío’s Park has got an extensive play area for children, with over 200 square metres surface, which counts with 6 seesaws and a game similar to a ship, apart from an area for bio-healthy games of over 100 square metres suitable for the elderly, where you can practice many exercises.

There is also a pipi-can with a 15 square metres surface as well as the corresponding banks, dust bins and lighting.

Très bien fait et espérons qu'il ne soit pas trop vite saccagé par de jeunes intelligents...!Comme c'est souvent le cas malheureusement.
