Arrested the perpetrator of 4 aggravated robberies to banks

He used a knife and a weapon to threaten the employees of the banks he robbed.

The Almoradi’s Guardia Civil has been able to identify and arrest last Thursday 11 a Spanish 33 year-old man who was the alleged perpetrator of four aggravated robberies to banks in the Vega Baja’s region.

By the end of July, the Guardia Civil started a police prosecution after being informed a bank’s office located in Rojales had suffered an aggravated robbery by a man who was armed with a knife and a gun and who managed to get 1,800 Euros and run away.
After this robbery, apparently, he still committed another three robberies between August and October in bank offices of Daya Nueva and Orihuela.

With the very few details held initially and after a hard investigation process which took nearly seven months, the Guardia Civil has been able to identify and arrest in Dolores the alleged perpetrator of these robberies, which had somehow created certain social alarm among the neighbours of these towns, as robberies were effected in small towns where they had a great impact.

Modus operandi:

He came into the banks with uncovered face and armed with a big knife and a gun which he hid under a newspaper, and threatened the employees of the banks while demanding the money, after which he run away all along the surrounding streets.
