The sanction consisting of the imposition of a fine of 6.010,13 € has been imposed to Mrs. A.V.P., neighbor of Pilar de la Horadada, for “ the practice of mutilations, amputation of ears and tail, without veterinary control ” to a her dog that previously had been adopted to this citizen from the Association of Protected Animals. The facts have been qualified as very serious infraction in article 76.13 of the Ordinance. The informer showed in the declaration statement at the Local Police that on having asked for explanations on these facts Mrs. Pasat stated “the dog is mine and I have done it because I like him this way and if the APAH does not like what I have done, then I want to recover the 50€ donation to the affiliation for the adoption of the dog”. The animal was retained in police dependencies a few days and today he is already recovered in the APAH in expectation of a new adoption. Mrs. Pasat has not realized any allegations for these facts. The Town hall of Pilar de la Horadada is grateful once again for the collaboration given by the APAH; without it many people of these serious performances would remain unpunished.
