SEIZED 1100 KG OF HASHISH IN PUNTA PRIMA (ORIHUELA COAST)

A group of individuals apparently of nationality magrebí disembarked 34 bundles of hashish off of a zodiac.

In the place known as Cape of Punta Prima, the individuals apparently of magrebí nationality disembarked 34 bundles of hashish off of a zodiac. Approximately a consignment of 1100 kilos than after it´s detection was taken to the police dependencies on the coast and later to the Civil Guard of Pilar de la Horadada.

The individuals had formed a human chain moving the shipment to ground.

The operation began at 6 a.m. up until approximately 10, a search was started for the suspects, having detained one, of magrebí nationality ,19 years with domicile in Villena. The judicial police of the Civil Guard continues looking for the rest of the implied.

One which was arrested did not resist to the above mentioned detention and was moved to the barracks of the Civil Guard of Pilar de la Horadada as author of alleged offense of trafficking narcotics.

The market retail value of these 1100 kilos of hashish is estimated, according to Pedro Tristán, Inspector Chief taken charge of the area of the coast of Orihuela and of this operation, of approximately 500 thousand euros.

Jeez! How much more crime? When you have an active drugs trade, of course, crime goes up even more as addicts steal and rob in orderr to fund their habits. Bad news, indeed!
