The Spain Cycle Tour will go through Orihuela
Orihuela has been appointed the special venue for the Spanish cycle tour, as this will be the year when the Miguel Hernández centenary will be celebrated, apart from being the land of the famous cyclist Bernardo Ruiz.
Monday morning the Spanish Cycle Tour was presented in Sevilla, an event which is considered to be one of the most important events in our country.The hosts, Perico Delgado and Carlos de Andrés, have explained each of the stages for the next Tour, highlighting Orihuela as an interesting point –the home of the famous cyclist Bernardo Ruiz-, a city which is highly interested in the cycling sport and which celebrates next year a very important event such as the centenary of the poet Miguel Hernández.
The seventh stage of the Spanish Cycle Tour will be carried out in Orihuela on the next 3rd of September of 2010.
