THE PSOE ASKS FOR THE RESIGNATION OF THE COUNCILMAN OF RAFAL

They allege that a float parade was used by the mayor of the parties to launch collective slogans against homosexuals and immigrants.

The Socialist spokesman in the Provincial Council of Alicante, Roque Moreno, today demanded the immediate resignation of councilman of feasts of the City Hall of Rafal, Alberto Pastor, to use the festivities as a platform to insult homosexuals and immigrants, or to impair the image of president of the Spanish government. The deputy provincial PSOE said that "Fiestas” councilman and the mayor of the town, José Arronis, should apologize to their neighbors for this behavior so indecent."

Moreno said he was using a float in one of the parades of the festivities were he placed posters and banners "denigratorios and vexatious" to groups such as homosexuales and immigrants. At the same float appeared a message contrary to what the Prime Minister of Spain says.
