THEFT OF COPPER CABLE  IN THE FREEWAY

The Civil Guard came to the detention, between October 27 and November 5, of
eight men of Spanish nationality as the supposed authors of a crime of Theft.
On or about two months, the Civil Guard began to have news of which this was
taking place, in aletatatorian manner, a series of thefts of copper cable in
different points of the  A-7 and AP-7, municipal terms of Dolores, Almoradí,
Pilar de la Horadada and Crevillente, estimating approximately 150.000 euros
the entire value of the stolen copper, and the securing of the same one does
not take into account the damages provoked. Before this wave of thefts, police
established a device for the identification of the authors, there being
achieved the clarification of 11 crimes of theft of copper on said motorways
and the communication and the detention of the alleged thieves.
