TorreGolf at El Plantio

Tuesday saw us back at our home course for our usual Stableford Competition and what a great day plenty of sunshine and comfortable, perfect conditions, who would have thought we would get weather like this in October. The course was in great condition following the hollow tinning have to say though could not understand why it was so wet underfoot it was as if we had had loads of rain when in fact it has been so reasonably dry for a while.
Anyway, everyone enjoyed the day with many prizes to be won resulting in Mike Zebedee coming in 1st. with 36 points on a count back from Mick Gossage 3rd.place went to Dave Leete, playing probably his penultimate game before off to New Zealand on 35 points and 4th. Reg Palmer 32 points.

Well done to all.  It was good to see our new designer Shirts and Caps on view for the first time with some also being worn by members playing today. The cost for today was again subsidized for our normal rate that is applied for High Season golf and included competition fees and our football sweepstake which was drawn, and one by Mark McGinley with Southampton being the team under the hidden  mark well done Mark and 50 Euros in the pocket which will pay for his next game and give him some change as we continue to strive and supply some of the cheapest golf on the Costas. Another course has been added to our growing list of preferred courses, Alicante Golf a Seve Ballesteros designed one in San Juan, Alicante so if any one would like to join us for the cost of a 10 Euros membership fee till the end of July, 2012 and if you are also into football help us to support CD Montesinos,(www.cdmontesinos.com) we will continue to strive and give our members  the cheapest golf around. Our next outing is the beautiful course Font del Llop, near to Aspe, on the 24th.October and while on that course please note that there are some special rates going for you during November thru February, 2012
