The events scheduled for Carnival 2012, starting on January 21, with the Carnival Open Speech and the presentation of the Carnival Queens, until 18 February with the Carnival night parade.

Entry: 5€
Tickets: Local theatre’s box office. Tuesday-Friday, 11am-1pm. 2 hours before the show.

Friday, 27 January 2012
4rd Drag Queen National Contest.
Time: 9.30 p.m.
Venue: Local Theatre
Entry: 5€
Tickets: Local theatre’s box office. Tuesday-Friday, 11am-1pm. 2 hours before the show.
Prizes: 1,000 Euros for the first winner, 500 Euros for the second and 250 for the third.

Carnival Contest Parade (red line)
Time: 4 p.m.
Route: exit point at María Asunción Square, through Ramón Gallud street and up to Patricio Pérez street. At the end of the parade, prizes will be handed over at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Centre.



17 February - 15 March 2012
Carnival Exhibition "Tocados y Mascaras de Carnaval"
Venue: Vista Alegre Exhibition Room
Price: Free entrance

Saturday, 18 February 2012
Carnival’s Evening Parade (blue line)
Time: 10 p.m.
Route: exit point at Patricio Pérez street, all through Ramón Gallud street and up to María Asunción Square.
