Tapas route 2011 - download map and vote

One of Torrevieja’s most successful innovations is the Tapas Route, which is run twice a year around the city centre.
The Torrevieja’s Tapas Route 2011 will be celebrated Thursday to Sunday, from the 17th to the 27th of November 2011.

The time schedule established to celebrate this Torrevieja’s Tapas Route 2011 will be from 12pm to 4.30 pm and from 7.30 pm to 11 pm.

The price per tapa and drink (half a pint/small beer, wine, water or soft drink) will be 2 euros.

Date: from 17th to 27th november 2011 thursday to sunday.
Timetable: from 12pm to 4:30pm and from 7:30pm to 11pm.
Price: Tapa + drink = 2€

Bear in mind that your vote will be stamped in at least ten establishments!!

As in the previous edition, there are several awards for the public vote on about the participating establishments which are:

A. Award for the Best Typical Torrevieja Tapa
- A netbook computer for www.torrevieja.com
- A dinner menu for four people in the winner’s establishment, for the typical Torrevieja tapa chosen by popular vote.
- 200 euros shopping voucher for the Centro Comercial Habaneras
- Two entrance tickets for an outstanding cultural event in the town, two priority tickets for the Culture Municipal Institut.
- A double room in the Cabo Cervera Hotel in Torrevieja, for two days, accommodation and breakfast.

B. Award for the Best Innovative Tapa
- A dinner menu for four people in the winner’s establishment, for the innovative tapa chosen by popular vote.
- A trip to Mallorca for two person - 4 days, 3 nights, accommodation and breakfast. Transport included for Asociación de Hostelería de Torrevieja y Comarca, Antonio Miñana e Hijos, Caja Rural Central and Viajes Iberia.
- Mini sound system for Carrefour Torrevieja.
- Two entrance tickets for an outstanding cultural event in the town, two priority tickets for the Culture Municipal Institut.
- A double room in the Cabo Cervera Hotel in Torrevieja, for two days, accommodation and breakfast.

C. “Nautical experience” Prize 1
- A marine equipment for Club Marina Internacional and a lunch or dinner (to choose) in each restaurant in the club (4): Restaurante Alondra, Restaurante Jose Luis, Restaurante Nautic y Restaurante Mobydic for Sport Yacht Club Marina Internacional.

D. “Nautical experience” Prize 2
- A tour for 8 person for the the Torrevieja Bay and surroundings, 1 day long in the clasicc sail boat “Leandros” for Sport Yacht Club Marina Salinas.

E. “Nautical experience” Prize 3
- A navigation day for 4 person in a laser SB3 boat “sailing experience” for Royal Yacht Club of Torrevieja.

There are also prizes for those who cast their votes to encourage further participation in the scheme.
