Rapturous Applause for visiting Welsh Choir

The Welsh have always been known for their rich voices. The likes of number one chart hit vocalists Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey and even Costa Blanca’s own Ricky Valance are testament to that. It came as no surprise that the visit of two choirs from Wales, going under the banner Trinity Voices in Harmony, would not disappoint. On Tuesday evening, in a packed Music Palace, the two choirs joined forces and delighted the audience with an hour and a half or none stop music.

Tuesday’s performance was in aid of  ‘Asociación Alzheimer de Torrevieja’ and presided over by Councillor for Foreigners and New Technology Pedro Valero, the Director of AFA,  Matilde Sánchez with assistant Mamen Boch and compared by Graham Knight..

The evening offered something for everyone, from their fabulous interpretation of Handel’s Messiah through folk, classical and even traditional Welsh songs. On stage fronting the choirs were two exceptional vocalists, Nigel Hopkins and Lynda Jenkins, plus a pair of identical twin violinists. Owen and Lyn Morgan. Each performance was greeting with rapturous applause with the audience reluctant to let them go.
