Avoid companies that:
- Does not accept payment by standing order or direct debit.
- Is not registered for business in Spain.
- Does not provide a contract in accordance with Spanish laws.
- Who tries to convince you that what they do, no matter how illegal it sounds, is normal down here.
- If it is too good to be truth, it is!
There are many nice people. Nice does not make honest. If you pay a deposit to a company that is not legitimate, you risk it being sized by the authorities and you thrown out. If they choose to run money transaction without running the money through the bank, it is the first sign that something is wrong.
Make sure that you can identify the company or the individuals renting out.
