We were in the position of our builder having used our deeds as a mortgage for other land/property. (We don't know the details exactly.)
However, they have now been signed before the Public Notary and our solicitor informs us that they are now in the process of being registered at the Land Registry Office. We have the 'Copia Simple'.
We thought our problems were over, but now a friend has been told by HER solicitor that she should get the deeds registered as soon as possible to protect them! Can the builder have any remaining hold on our deeds?
