Webcam - Or so it says

When is the webcam going to be exactly that?

At the moment it is showing a picture which is timed at 15.33. The time is actually 16.58. Hardly updating every 60 seconds.

How can a picture which updates every 60 seconds be a webcam.

Surely it should be a moving picture to be a webcam?

Just looked up Webcam on google and found this:

Webcams are small cameras, (usually, though not always, video cameras) whose images can be accessed using the World Wide Web, instant messaging, or a PC video conferencing application.

On the webcam picture, it says that it updates every 60 seconds.

It doesn't!

It is still showing a picture timed 15.33.

This has been going on for weeks on and off.
What is the point of having a webcam that shows pictures which are so out of date and is generally, so unreliable?

I don't really see the point of the webcam anyway, what do you get out of it? It's just the view of outside Burger King or there abouts isn't it? Might as well go and sit there, at least you'd be out in the fresh air.

this is a very sore subject on this forum - for some of us who are NOT able to be there, this is the only way to see local weather - local sight - but who ever owns the site and or the webcam apparently doen't care what the forum members or the general public see or comment about. The old cam definately used to be much better. And for those of you who think we're making a fuss, well folks I am basic my visit in September on what I see "live" here - if I can't do that, perhaps Torre is not the place for me to visit then. Yes? No? I'm open to any insight!

The webcam on this site used to be great. We were using it before we came to live here permanantly nearly 5 years ago.
