There is a shop just opposite the Tanatorio (Parc of Nations) in Torrevieja that buy books off you for 1 euro, but they have to be paperback not hardback and reasonably newish. If it was published in 2002 say, they would only give you 50 cents. If you're passing, perhaps worth a try.

That would be fine, sounds fair. Would we be able to come and have a look at what you have?
Thanks

You can borrow longterm books from the La Siesta Charity library.(12 Calle Weber) You pay 25cents each and bring them back when you want to change them. Their selection is very professional.
They are open 10.30 am to 12 on Tuesdays. I don`t know if they will be closing for summer , but I saw their continuing advert in a local paper this week.
I always donate books from other sources having finished with them.
Why not donate your 1000 books or some of them. Its a good cause and a good service.
