Default Cat Found Playa Flamenca

A young male cat approx 1 year old has moved into Total Stationery in Playa Flamenca. He is very friendly and has obviously had an owner as he is wearing a collar. It is red with silver studs on it. He is smokey grey with stripes on his head legs and tail. If you know where he came from please contact us on 965 325 874. Or alternatively if you can give him a loving home please call too. We are looking after him as well as we can but he needs a family home to settle into.

Maybe if you could get him to a vet to see if he is micro-chipped you may find the owner, do hope he is re-homed soon.

I have already taken him to the local vet, but he doesn't have a chip. The vet said that unfortunately people chip their dogs more than they do their cats.

Its been about a month now since Fred moved into the shop, and we have had no sign of anyone coming forward for him, or wanting to take him. Please if anyone knows of someone who has lost a cat fitting his descriptin please let us know. Its such a shame that he has no owners, because he is such a character. Today he was running around with a mini guiness rugby ball in his mouth, and batting it across the office floor, almost electricuting himself might i add, when he got tangled in the computer cables.

Default Cat found in Playa Flamenca

Bad news loupy, you've given it a name! Looks like it's yours now.
Wish people would be responsible for their bloody actions. I get angrier with things by the minute. Have you mentioned this to Joe the catman, haven't got his number to hand but he is in all the freebie papers, perhaps he could help you find a home for Fred if you are willing to look after it until he did? Just a suggestion.

Joe is a very difficult man to get hold of. I rang him and left a message explaining the sittuation, but have heard nothing. I have put a sign in the local vet, on the shop gate, and also put an advert in a couple of papers. But of course, everyone out here has already rescued at least one cat or dog and understandibly don“t want to increase their collection of waifs and strays. Between the 5 of us who work at the shop we have, 8 dogs and 13 cats, most of which were strays at one point. And yes we named him as shouting "oi kitty" was turning a few heads.
