Default Car Hire fuel policy

Hi, Is there any car rental company doing full/full fuel policy for 4 day hire, my regular hire company has changed their policy to 3 days and this does not suit. Thanks

Tommy

Go through Spain car hire with All Inclusive Prices, Spain car hire with 100% Peace of Mind, Car hire in Spain with No Hidden Costs! they will probably assign you to Record car hire who operate a full/full policy regardless of the amount of days.

We ALWAYS use ECONORENT (only available at Alicante & Murcia airports) who guarantee full/full fuel for any length of hire (plus they only charge 16€ per hire period for the extra insurance for tyres, underside & windscreen).

Book through "hirecarsinSpain" hire cars in spain - car hire for alicante, malaga, jerez, torrevieja, valencia and more On the home page advert for Econorent is on the right.

They are excellent on price too. You get the car full of petrol, you pay nothing upfront for petrol & you return it full. (Obviously, if you don't they charge for amount they reckon you've used, only fair.)

I have used Europacar in Alicante and same as what Orangegrove told you. Pick it up full, leave it full.

Try Record rent a car at Alicante. They do not charge you for fuel. you just take it back with the same that is in. You also get bonus points each time you use them. These can be used against a discount for your next car hire.

I'm rather confused here, Tommy. WHY ask for recommendations for car hire firms that do FULL/FULL then ignore advice from members who have bothered to post (when thousands haven't) to tell you of a car hire firm (Econorent) who GUARANTEES full/full & go for Record who are rather "iffy" over the elusive full/full policy at times, makes no sense.

Hope it works out for you ok.

There were 5 replies, 2 for record 1 for econorent and 1 for europacar and my post warning to ask about the fuel policy with record.

cb, I am certainly not "on commission" (though that would be good as many have gone to Econorent after hearing about them & not just from me! )

"Is there any car rental company doing full/full fuel policy for 4 day hire, my regular hire company has changed their policy to 3 days and this does not suit ..."

Tommy asked SPECIFICALLY for GUARANTEED full/full fuel & I said Econorent were GUARANTEED full/full so seems rather amazing (to me anyway) that he booked with Record who (certainly if you read other forums & I read many) are NOT CONSISTENT.

The time to find out about fuel is hardly at the car hire firm's counter when just maybe you'll be told full/empty !! With E you pay nothing for a full tank then you take car back full. Easy.

I was so fed up myself with shopping around. We used to book with doyouspain who would give us Auriga who (at Murcia) used to give us full/full but now only give full/empty after 3 days & I am just relieved that we heard about E who had been there all the time but we didn't know about them.
