Hi guys!
I'll be going to Torrevieja for a week in September and I was wondering how much money do I need there....just for food and going out, visiting and stuff...you know...pocket money :P |

Bit of a silly question really, spend as much as you like or as little as you like.
Obviously it's cheaper here than in England but depends on what you want to do. |

We normally budget 50 euros per day and yes you sometimes spend no where near it and some times you need more!
The state of the £ to euro exchange means you often dont see much differeance in the price as a tourist between Torre and the UK! Its worth it though for the relaxed atmosphere and the sun, sea & sand!!! Last edited by Bob Pallas : 08-07-2008 at 10:04 PM. |

its easy to do both...if its a eating and drinking holiday its easy to spend more than 50 a day..ive done both types of holidays in this area on a 10 day hoilday with the lads i spent close to 100 a day but that was eating out twice a day and alot of beer... on the other hand there have been times when i struggled to spend 2-300 in 7 days...

I have just got back from a month in Spain. The food prices in the shops not a lot different to UK now, taking into account the exchange rate and rising prices in Spain, although some things still cheaper (wine being one of them!).
If you are eating out - Menu del dia is 8-12 euros. The price of drinks when you are out and about varies from bar to bar. Bottled beer is more expensive (2-2.50 euros each) than draught beer and generally spanish bars are cheaper than english ones. What and how much you drink will make a big difference to how much money you will need. Hope this helps |
