The future of Sky Television in Spain

I would like to open this thread so i can explain to people what i se to be the future of Sky Television and also bbc itv and others channels here in Spain


1. Sky is UK only and no one that is no one has the right to rebroadcast these channels here in spain, this has been ongoing fore many years now and has now come to an end.


2. Don´t through good money after bad money and change providers they all have the same problem they don´t have any rights to rebroadcast these channels none of them.


3. To be able to receive BBC 1 Itv 1,2,3,4 and most of the sky FTA channels you will NEED A 1.35 Meter satellite Disc al least here on the Costa, people how tell you differently are not telling you the through


4. If you have a sky satellite dish and a sky receiver you will be able to receive about 100 FTA (free channels) no monthly fee to pay. and no need fore a sky card


5. When you have your own dish you are taking the signal straight from the satellite (just like you where in the uk wasting sky).

so there is no rebroadcasting company here in spain that is the middle man.


6. If you want the sport channels and other pay tv challels from sky you will have to pay fore a subscription to sky television, that is no problem and you would not be pirating they channels if you pay fore them, right


7. The further of English television is with a satellite dish and nothing else, so please bear that in mind before you take your next step............

if you want BBC1 you'll need at least a 1.9mtr dish to recive any signal at all as BBC 's signal's only sent out on astra's north beam this is to try stoping us from getin it at all!!

you might be intrested that you can recive HD braodcasts too
