Default Need to sell property very quickly

Can anyone help with advice on how to sell property quickly? I have to release some capital in my property in Spain to pay debts in the UK but remortgage option is too expensive.

Are there property auctions in Torrevieja or places to sell quickly, obviously I would sell quite alot below market value

Any advice much appreciated.

Get a good agent. They will want to have exclusive sale right, and my recommendation would be to sign an exclusive contract with an agent.
If you have it on the market with 10 differnet agents (and all with there sales signs up) None of them will bring clients to you.
I can recommend Remax La Marina (by the tourist info in the port)
QSD Group in Quesada

Where abouts in Torrevieja is your property as you could really do with a local agent. The two named agents I know charge between 12-18% commission so even if you want to sell at a beloiw market price it wont be by the time they have put there cut on!So you could be waiting a long time. Let me now the area and I may know someone who can help.

If those agents put their commission on top. then forget them. Agents shouldnt ADD the commission. the commission should be payed BY THE SELLER not the buyer.
If you want to sell fo 100K, the buyer should pay 100k plus taxes.
You will get 100K and from that money pay the agents the agreed commission.

Smile Market value

Just for fun I looked at one of these 'for sale' windows (outside the Mosquito bar yesterday) and it brought a little smile to my face to see that people are still advertising their houses at 2x the prices that they are currently going for. 3 bedroom at quad Dream Hills for 180.000? The current "value" is perhaps 80-90.000, and mark my words - it is going DOWN as we speak.

This is when you should not sell, but hold on and wait. Repossession is going to be the best business for about 2-3 years now.

Difficult thing to value property, as any property is not worth more (or less) than what people are prepared to pay for it.
