could somebody please tell me why people can get away with driving English cars over here for years on english plates and no up to date tax disc?? It worries me that if they bump into me there insurance will be void! Why can they get away with it !!!!

They cant. If they are caught that is.
Its liek asking why people can get away with speeding. Well they cant, if they are caught that is.

Spanish authorities are cracking down on them. Hopefully it will pay of.

I have not seen any evidence, of the polce cracking down. They only seem to pull in Spanish cars and vans, i wonder if the paper work is too much for an English car!!!!!!!!!!, I can walk round were we live and see 4 cars that are not leagal, thats without really looking.
