WI-FI Zones in Torrevieja?

Does anybody know if there are any (free) WiFi zones in Torrevieja? If so where? Last year I brought a laptop which has the necessary wireless internet adaptors etc but couldn't find any WiFi zones and eventually had to go to an internet shop to get emails internet etc. Has the situation improved in this respect or was I mistaken last year? Any advice welcome

There is a new cafe in centre of town - walk down from the main church, passed Valor turn left (health shop on the corner) just along there on the right. free Wi Fi advertised in the window.

Quite a few of the pubs and restaurants now offer free wi-fi. You just have to keep your eyes open for which ones.

Torrevieja presently has two major Hot Spots:

1. In front of the Town Hall in the main square
2. In the plaza in front of the Municipal theatre.

Surf for free and just pay for the coffee. Life could be a lot worse!

i know the vicinity on McNasties restaurants in UK is okay because its set up by McNasties, not sure in the same in Spain though

there are quite some HotSpots within Orihuela-Costa, one is in La Zenia roundabout. You'll also find it's live (and free) at many of the local pubs, such as The Lounge Bar, Rocajuna, Vista Bar and many others in downtown.

For the price of a coffee you'll be able to get most of your emails and other browsing done and dusted.

Hi Ernest.
You will find quite a few bars are now doing Wi-Fi,as long as you buy a coffee or beer.Hope that is of some use?
