Taxi Alicante airport-Torrevieja

Hello everybody!Can anybody tell me what it cost to take a taxi from the airport to Torrevieja?

The average price is 50 euros ,it can be dearer after a certain time.Look at the front page ,online guide ,click on how to arrive.There is a shuttle as well it depends how many passengers as to which means of transport is the most cost effective.

A taxi would cost indeed around 100€ to get you from the airport and bring you back.
Do you realize that hiring a car is probably cheaper?
Well, it depends of course on the duration of your stay.
I pay 140€ for 10 days and get a small car for that price.

Is that price including fuel or is that extra. I have been looking for somewhere you only pay for what you use. Most times you pay for a fuel tank them give them it back more than half fuel.

Yes, I pay an extra 40€ for fuel.

Levantina Car Hire charges just 10 euros for the petrol which is in the car when you collect it at either Alicante or Murcia airports. You can do a lot of running around on 10 euros, after that it's up to you. We use Recordrentacar - only at Alicante not Murcia. They give you a car with a certain amount in the tank, and you return it with the same amount. Other companies charge you 40 euros for a full tank, when a full tank of a small car might only cost 30 euros.

We've gone the hire route and tend to use www.carjet.comor www.drivespain.com(same web site structure but sometimes one is cheaper than the other) They choose who you hire from - could be Auriga, Record, Europa or Solmar but we have found if you ask at the desk you can strike a "return full" deal and won't have to pay for a tank of fuel you don't use. Service from all of these and from Carjet themselves has always been excellent (been using them for about 5 years)

Out of interest - I am yet to find cheaper car hire from anyone out of Alicante or Murcia from than these sites. If anyone is aware of a co. that can beat them I'd love to know.

I have found that www.spain-travel-car.com can be cheaper than carjet.They use the same companies and for short stays we always return car full of petrol with no problems.
