Does anyone know of a car hire company at Alicante Airport that STILL allows you to top up your fuel and not have to bring the car back empty ( which on a 6 day visit is impossible! )

Use Econorent booked through Hire Cars in Spain. Car has a full tank of fuel, theres no charge ..you just bring car back full.

Had a car with Centauro for 14 days over E aster - full/full. Depends on the broker i think, this was with Holiday Autos.

Booked a car through Auriga car hire with full = full cost 60 euros which was refunded at the end of our stay no problems at all BravoCarHire.com but you must select Auriga = hope this is of interest -

I recently hired a car with solmar for 2 weeks . was given the option of full / empty or half full and returned same with money back.

Hi David, Centauro give you the car with a full tank and you have to take it back full - if you take it back without filling it up then you do NOT get a refund (but it's worth filling up when you take it back because normally they charge a lot more than you would pay). hope this helps
