Predeterminado CD Stuck in Mercedes Car

We have a mercedes car, but unfortunately the other day the cd that we were playing kept re-playing the same tune, then when I tried to eject the cd out of the player, it would not come out. We have tried everything we can think of, even getting the tweezers in there to try and hook it out. Can anybody help or suggest a specialist for this type of problem? As you can imagine - I do not like being without my music. The radio isn't quite the same is it? By the way we live in the La Marina area.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank's
    Carol

Try inserting another CD and at the same time press the eject button.

Ease out the one you are trying to insert and it generally brings out the one you are trying to get out.

    It certainly works with me.

    regards

Predeterminado Post subject: CD Stuck in Mercedes Car

    Hi
Thanks for your reply, but we have tried that.

What we need is a garage that can actually get the complete cd/radio player out of the car. For this you need 2 special tools (sort of like long wires so you can pull the cd player out). Then we will need to get it repaired.

To get a new cd/radio player for the mercedes we have been told it will be 4500 euros, of which we are not willing to pay that kind of money. When we purchased the car, we didn't even think to ask for these tools(not that they would have them).

Although we can actually still play the radio, we would like to play our cd's. This has been going on now for a g e s. Can anybody please suggest a good garage that speaks English and could so this for us.
    Many thank's

    Predeterminado CD

Hi Carol not sure of the model etc but you can try this:
On some cd players there is an small hole to the side of the cd opening. Poking this with a paper clip while pressing the eject sometimes works. If your car doesn't have this feature, you just have to poke the paper clip into the mechanism opening and risk damaging the cd to get it out. You either press the cd up or down while pressing the eject. Otherwise you will have to go to the dealers and ask them how to take it out. Is this a cd that has been made yourself? Also your local car supply shop usually has the tool to take out the unit then you can just unscrew a few screws and take it out. HTH
