Spanish Wills

Hi,

is it a legal reuirement to have a will here? my husband and I now live albeit under non-resident status at the moment and own our own property with no mortgage. We have a young daughter. i ask because I have been quoted on average 250,00€ per person per will which is a lot of money?
Could you advise me on this?

It is not a legal requirement to have a Will in Spain for the Spanish Assets. However, having a Will in Spain simplifies the inheritance arrangements, when an inheritance has to be executed.
