Lost NIE certificate

Does anybody know if you can get a replacement NIE certificate? I have lost my original and do not know if I have to get a new number and certificate via the original process or if there is a process to get a duplicate certificate.

You could get a certificate from the police station although it will be also valid the obtaining of tax labels from the Tax office that usually are easiest to get.
