Builder Gone Bankrupt - Builders Insurance Cover

I am led to beleive that San Jose, a major builder in the area has filed for adminsitration/bankruptcy. A general question in relation to buildings cover / insurance.

In the UK all builders pay into a central 'pot' known as NHBC, so any building defects are sorted regardless of the fact that of the builder still being in business or not. Is this the case in Spain ?

All the properties are covered during 10 years from the completion of the property regardless the builder’s company situation.
